I always just grab the windows installer version when I upgrade and I've been using Hugin on and off for quite some time. Don't bother with the Python versions This version is packaged as a Windows installer, so it pretty much just works. I've never had a problem with Hugin, from NT 4. As for your original problem I did a search and didn't see your post on that one : There is a checkbox in the Stitcher tab of Hugin, "Panorama Outputs: Exposure corrected low dynamic range", make sure that one is checked.
